Team Bios
Lee Coburn, President is an award-winning designer and illustrator with over 19 years of experience. Mr.. Coburn is an honors graduate of the Atlanta College of Art (Now the Savannah College of Art in Atlanta) with a BFA in Electron Imagery. During his 15 year stint in Atlanta, Mr. Coburn developed a diverse creative skill-set through a variety of employers that included corporations, small design shops, ad agencies, and a video game company -- working his way up from a production designer to a creative director, before founding Coburn Creative in 2002.
Amber Brown's interest in visual communication began when she was barely able to wield a crayon. An abnormal attraction to product packaging, memorization of fonts, and a mounting collection of "visually cool" junk mail, had solidified her path to the ad agency. In 2007 with B.A. double major in Graphic Design and Mass Communications from E&H, She joined the Coburn Creative team. Amber feels that every aspect of her job provides rewarding challenge: brainstorming genius concepts with her co-workers, the design process, project management, to production/web coding, and even flash animation and working Content Management Systems.
Jason Willis’s path to Coburn Creative began at an early age. As an avid public speaker throughout school, Jason became fascinated with the power of communication. Eventually this led him to more creative and complex communication explorations, such as painting and photography. Jason graduated from Emory & Henry College, where he majored in Art with a graphic design focus and minored in Visual Communications and immediately joined the Coburn Creative team. Jason excels in his execution of the many diverse tasks: from planning to production, project management to consultation, and all the exciting day to day challenges, while continually mastering Coburn Creative’s requirement of robust skill sets. His only regret is the resulting receding hairline.
Leah Gaultney graduated from Concord University with a B.A. in Graphic Design and Advertising. After doing so, she migrated to Washington DC to work as a graphic designer for a non-profit women's organization and learned that “big city life” was not for her, so she packed up her unhealthy obsession for paper samples and newly learned skill sets and moved back to Southwest Virginia. Leah's design and people skills, love for photography and insatiable need to fix anything visually unpleasing have paved the way to her success. From brainstorming ideas to production and final product, Leah feels that every part of her career is challenging, rewarding, and just plain fun. Leah is happy to be home and even more happy to be a part of the extremely talented team at Coburn Creative.
Tim Wright, Project Manager- Wright's experience includes being an Information Services Technician at K-Va-T Foods Inc. in Abingdon, Virginia. While enrolled at Emory and Henry College, he was part of the Bonner Scholar's Volunteer Program. Wright, a proud father of two, holds a B.S. In Business Administration and Management from Virginia Intermont College.
Teresa Jordan, Office Administrator- Jordan's experience includes being a Marketing Manager for East Tennessee Auto Auction in Fall Branch, Tennessee. Jordan attended the University of Hawaii and Mountain Empire Community College.
